Seventh Generation Natural Baby Kit Giveaway!!!

Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers:

Features -  Wood pulp processed without chemicals containing chlorine,  Hypoallergenic,  Fragrance and latex free,   Premium fit and absorbency

Call me the try-it-all-junkie, but I have indeed tried all kind of diaper you might have imagined. From Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, Parents Choice, CVS, Publix Diapers, etc., but none compares to Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers. These diapers are made of chlorine free wood pulp fluff, sodium polyacrylate, polyolefin nonwoven fabric, adhesives, polyolefin film, and synthetic rubber elastic strands. Not only will your baby be toxic-free from using these diapers, you will also not have to worry about diaper rashes or crazy bumps in private area. And this is fact from a mother who has dealt with the ups and downs of diaper rashes. Ever since I started using Seventh Generation, my daughter is now diaper-rash free! They also hold more leaks and leak less. My daughter will still occassionally leak during a blow out but nothing compared to when she is in the other brands. She wears her diaper overnight for more than 10hours and they get soaked well but keeps the moisture away from her private area. While results might vary, it is suffice to say that it is comforting to know that my daughter is no longer exposed to dioxins.

Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Wipes:
Features -   Hypoallergenic, Whitened without chemicals containing Chlorine, Unscented, Alcohol Free, One-at-a-time Dispensing

The effects of dioxins on babies are not known yet but from a technical standpoint, I know for sure that Chlorine when in contact with water forms Hydrochloric acid, and although this reaction might occur, it is of course a minute concentration. However, it is still important to keep such toxic and hazardous chemicals away from the little ones because we cannot just assume that all these little chemicals don’t add up. Hence I recommend the Chlorine Free Wipes as well; they are great alternative to cloth wipes.

Natural 2X Concentrated Baby Laundry Liquid:
Features -  Non-toxic & biodegradable,  Hypoallergenic,  Free of phosphates & optical brighteners,  Safe for septic systems

If you have daughter like mine that spills everything, and I mean everything. A week after I started using the Natural Baby Detergent, she spilled coffee all over a recently done laundry, Oh Lawd! So of course, I dumped the entire laundry back into the washer and started another run. The good news is, after using this detergent, the stains were all gone, even the smell of coffee. It is free of dyes and fragrances, hence you don’t get the false sense of clean, and you get the actual clean. Ingredients used in are all natural and baby friendly, you will love it.

Natural All Purpose Cleaner:
Features Non-toxic & biodegradable,  Hypoallergenic,  Free of harsh fumes, Not Tested on Animals

I am not in any way a clean freak, but I believe in effective cleaning. There is a saying that says “if it can’t be done safely, then don’t do it”. I love these All Purpose Natural Cleaner because it is exactly the kind of cleaner I need. It is non toxic, hypo-allergenic, with no harsh fumes. These are uncommon features in other cleaner brands that you get for almost the same price. I clean my kitchen countertops every night, and I feel good about it because I the next time I Camille’s picks up cookie crumbs from the counter, I wouldn’t have to worry much.

Seventh Generation 100% Recycled Paper Towels:
Features - 100% recycled paper,   Hypo-allergenic,  Whitened without chemicals containing chlorine or unwhitened, Strong and absorbent,   Unscented, No added dyes and fragrances

Seventh Generation 100% Recycled Paper Towels are amazing. They literarily soak spills, clean countertops, center tables, anything really. I love them because sometimes I put food in microwave and because my microwave is out for repair and I am now using a smaller one, I cannot cover my food with the normal microwave plastic, so I use paper towels instead (yeah…lol), but because these paper towels are unscented, ith no added dyes and fragrances, I am well certain that I will not be chewing off toxins the next time I microwave my pizza.

I learned that "Senators Frank R. Lautenberg and Barbara Boxer and Representatives Hilda Solis and Henry Waxman have a reform plan -- The Kid-Safe Chemicals Act" And I'm going to go check into that and read up a bit, I'm very interested in learning more!

I've had a great time looking around the Seventh Generation site. Wow! There's lots of information there.
One thing I learned from The Inspired Protagonist's heading "Systemic Dissonance" is that Ben & Jerry no longer are in control of their company. They have sold to Unilever and have no responsibility and no authority. That makes me sad. (And now the ice cream will just make me think of soap!)

I actually learned, just this morning, that Seventh Generation is located in Vermont! We are possibly moving to Maine, so this really excites me! I would love to win and give this as a gift to my boss who just had twin baby girls and is all for saving the environment! Our business color is even GREEN! :)

Glad to find a blog with info I really need. Thanks. Trying to go natural has it's challenges. BTW, I switched to cloth and LOVE it... no rashes, no midnight runs to the store, and no chemicals (I soak in vinegar and make my own laundry soap). You might like it!

i found this fun fact interesting that is every household in the US replaced just one bottle of 100oz 2x ultra petroleum-based liquid laundry detergent with their 100oz 2x ultra plant-derived product we could save 466,000 barrels of oil which is enough to heat and cool 26,800 homes for a year! Wowzers!!
