Papermate Biodegradable Pencil
Papermate is a company that manufactures writing materials, which includes pens, pencils, papers, notepads, etc. I had the opportunity to review some Papermate product last week and it was just lovely. I am not too specific as to what type of pen I use, however using the Papermate Biodegradable pencil this weekend, with an ergonomic grip, for the reduced writing fatigue produced by its grip to the hand and also a greener solution, I knew I would have to keep one with me everywhere I go.It definitely was a smooth writing experience.
Papermate Silhouette -
The Papermate Silhouette is very functional. As a chemical engineer, I love functionality. Not only is it pretty, it is very comforting. Shaped like an hourglass, so your grip is well positioned and relaxed while writing. Another cool feature is the fact that you click for more pen on the sides, as opposed to the end of the pen, for uninterrupted writing. They have it available in 0.5mm and 0.7mm, so if you ever want to buy this for your toddler or teenager, its very functional.
*I received a sample product from Papermate and did not recieve any form of financial proceeds.

I love mechanical pencils, especially if they are ergonomic--it's much easier to write for a long time with a nice mechanical pencil. :)
How sad is it that it's been YEARS since I've used a pencil. I do everything in pen or marker or even crayons. I will check out those pencils for the kids homework though.
Thanks for stopping by! New Follower in tow.
we homeschool and my son is only allowed to use mechanical pencils because they write smoother

The papermate pens are NOT biodegradable. In order to be so, they would have to break down in a landfill which they cannot do. They are compostable. Please take care and not get sucked into the "green washing". There is a BIG difference in biodegradable, compostable, and degradable.
